Regional Branches and Officials
Our membership is widely spread and regional groups have therefore been created, based loosely on counties, except for Wales which is split North and South, Jersey, and the USA which is the entire USA. A minimum of six members can form a Region and organise their own programme of events and activities.
Most regions of the BWA have regular meetings, many of which involve practical sessions where members can carve, chat, drink tea (and in some cases, beer) and receive advice and help with their project from experienced carvers. Many regions also exhibit and demonstrate at woodworking and/or craft shows.
